Bruce Willis turns 68 and his wife cries on social media

Star Bruce Willis turned 68 this Sunday (19/3) and his wife, Emma Heming, was moved to vent about her husband’s condition, who suffers from dementia.

“Today is my husband’s birthday and I woke up crying. Recording these videos is like a knife in my heart but I know how much you love my husband and I’m doing it for you,” she said in a video posted on Instagram.

Emma says people always praise her for being so strong in the face of adversity, but explains she has no choice and just does what it takes to keep her home and life in order. In the video, she adds that she has gone through moments of pain and sadness, above all because she has two small children and raising them in these conditions has been very difficult.

He also explained that the videos he’s making to update Bruce Willis’ health are distressing, but he does so because he knows fans care about the star’s well-being and appreciates the expressions of love and support the couple have received. For her, the sadness about the actor’s current health has an “opposite side”: “the warmth and love of the fans who turn to her husband and family”.
