This trick helped Kate Middleton settle into the royal family – but Meghan failed

Royal expert Tom Quinn has published a book dedicated to Kate Middleton and Prince William. In it, he revealed many palace secrets, such as details of Kate and William’s family nicknames, and even how their feuds unfolded. It turned out that the Princess of Wales affectionately calls her husband “Prince Baldy”, that is, the bald prince – William’s hair and, however, lightened, but Kate does not seek to l offend with that. The nickname is Middleton’s playful response to the way her husband constantly remarks on her “endless mane of hair.” During family feuds, it is Will who is emotional, but Kate maintains a “Buddhist calm”.

It seems that this is what helped her fit perfectly into the royal family.

Few remember it now, but early in her life at the palace, Kate also regularly faced hatred from the press. Then British journalists were not at all happy that the representative of the “working class” became the wife of the heir to the throne, because Kate’s mother worked as a flight attendant, and her father was a pilot . Journalists voiced their claims about Kate’s origin without a pang of conscience and in the harshest form.

However, Kate simply did not react to this.

“Kate never answered. She didn’t complain. She didn’t write letters to the press or call the newsroom. She didn’t say anything. And it was a good move. “She showed how calm she was and didn’t make a fuss. And over time, all the attacks failed,” the book says.

Meghan Markle, as you know, could not show such stamina. Her relations with the press also did not work out, but unlike Kate, the American immediately rushed to settle things with journalists, constantly complaining about them and asking for the palace’s protection. And there, that approach was clearly not appreciated, especially when Kate’s behavior in a similar situation was still fresh in her memory.

And this comparison was clearly not in favor of Meghan Markle. As a result, Prince Harry’s wife did not become his own in the palace, but Kate’s trick worked.
