On March 26, Piotr Vysotski, a famous Polish actor adored by Soviet television viewers, died. He was 87 years old and he accepted a terrible death – burned alive in his own house in Lubelskie Voivodeship in the village of Trshinets. “Four Tankers and a Dog” (1969-1970)
The Polish TV series became a real hit in the USSR, and the actors who played the main roles immediately became people’s favorites. Among them was Peter Vysotsky, who played Lieutenant Kozuba. Although he did not get a place among the famous crew of the red tank, participation in the project, which won the hearts of the audience, was a significant step in the actor’s career.
