The Brazilians were mentioned by Maluma during a podcast interview
During the Alofoke Radio Show podcast, Colombian singer Maluma spoke, in a good-natured way, about the situations he experienced involving Brazilian celebrities. He revealed that Neymar would have “stolen” a girlfriend from him and that he had a relationship with Anitta a few years ago. The interview was aired last Friday the 24th.
One respondent asked Maluma about his involvement with model Natalia Barulích and whether the player was involved in the breakup, in 2019. The singer jokingly replied yes: “Neymar took my girlfriend away from me,” he said. Soon after, laughing, Maluma denied it. “No lie.”
The conversation took place in a light tone and Maluma even claimed that the ex-girlfriend waited just 30 seconds after the end of the relationship to get involved with Neymar.
Romance with Anita
During the interview, Maluma also speculated that he had been in a relationship with singer Anitta at the beginning of his international career. The two have shared collaborations since 2016, with the song Yes or no, and fans have always suspected there might be something more.
According to Maluma, however, the relationship was short-lived. “For me, these relationships with people in the industry don’t work for the same reason. When it happened, with Anitta too, she was starting her (international) career. I met her and we hit it off a lot and everything. I thought, ‘ I can’t be with her, because she does the same thing as me,'” he said on the podcast.
