The commentator came to hide his Twitter profile during the Campeonato Paulista final
Palmeiras fans have flooded Ana Thais Matos’ profile with criticism after the team won the Paulistão league title for the second time. The reason for the rebuke goes by the name of Endrick.
In the 16-year-old striker’s bad phase, when he was even excluded from the starting line-up, the Grupo Globo commentator suggested that the player return to the base to complete his professional training.
After scoring again in the decider against Água Santa, Endrick praised his numbers since joining the professional squad last year and sent a tip to the reporter.
“It’s 3/3, three championships played and three professional titles. I think I’m ready to be a starter in the Under-20s,” he said in an interview with Record.
Expert Raphael Veiga, who was giving an interview with his colleague, sent a “pass, pass” and removed the colleague from the microphones, avoiding further questions.
Ana Thais Matos even deactivated her Twitter account during a period in the Paulistão final, which Palmeiras won after beating Água Santa 4-0. You did not respond to Palmeiras’ comments.
At 16 years and 8 months, Endrick equaled Pelé with the youngest player to score for the Campeonato Paulista. He made his mark in both final matches. Those were the boy’s only goals of the year so far.
In addition to the Paulistão, Endrick has also won the Campeonato Brasileiro and Supercopa do Brasil since joining the professionals at Palmeiras.
