Actor Jeremy Renner (“Hawkeye”) has given more details about the serious accident he suffered in the snow in January of this year. While appearing on “Jimmy Kimmel Live!”, he reported being pulled under a snowcat after attempting to apply the emergency brake to save the life of his he grandson, Alexander Fries. And he revealed a shocking detail for the first time.
Due to the vehicle’s impact on his body, Renner reported that his eye went out of its socket. “My eye popped out. It was weird, but I was lucky none of my organs were harmed,” the actor said on the show.
Also, she regretted that her nephew had witnessed it all. “He had to see his uncle Jeremy on the floor. I didn’t see anything, but he saw blood everywhere,” the actor said.
On another occasion, Jeremy said he thought he was going to die after being crushed and left a farewell letter to his family on his cell phone.
But despite the scare, the Marvel star is already much better. He was spotted having fun at an amusement park in California this weekend. The actor hasn’t commented on his recovery, but his presence at the park suggests he’s well enough to enjoy extreme rides.
