Margot Robbie admits she thought the ‘Barbie’ script wouldn’t be accepted

Our pink Barbie, actress Margot Robbie, 32, said in an interview with bafta, according to information from IndieWire, who thought the film script would not be accepted.

“The first time I read the script for ‘Barbie,’ my reaction was, ‘Oh! It’s so good. Too bad it’ll never see the light of day…because they’ll never let us make movies.’ But they did,” Margot said. The screenplay is by Greta Gerwig and Noah Baumbach.

While participating in the podcast At your service, by singer DuaLipa, Gerwig revealed that she didn’t know where to start production on the script. “Like, where do you start? What would the story be?” she said. “I think I had a feeling it was going to be a really interesting horror. That’s usually where the best stuff is. When you say ‘I’m afraid of this,'” she continued.

Margot had speculated on some details of the feature film that will hit small screens in July this year, but the actress didn’t open her mouth. “I can’t tell!” she replied.

Ryan Gosling plays Margot’s love interest Ken. In an iconic setting with attention to the smallest details, the plot even shows the detail of the doll’s foot, since Barbie always remains on her toes.
