Actor and singer Drake Bell (“Drake & Josh”) is listed as missing and “in danger” by the Daytona Beach, Florida Police Department. The former Nickelodeon star was last seen Wednesday (4/12) in a gray 2022 BMW at around 9 p.m. local time, according to Daytona Police Officer Carrie McCallister, in information provided to the website of Hollywood.
Bell’s disappearance was posted on the Police Department page, which denied the posting was false. “For those asking, this is a legitimate post from the Daytona Beach Police Department. If you have any information, please contact Detective Jayson Wallace,” the page replied in the post itself.
As the case is still ongoing, police did not provide further details on the suspects or who reportedly went missing.
Bell, who rose to fame as a child in the 2000s, made headlines again in 2021 after pleading guilty to a juvenile crime. The actor reportedly had inappropriate conversations with a 15-year-old girl he met online and later in person.
He was sentenced to two years probation and 200 hours of community service. In addition, the actor has already been involved in controversies such as alleged abuse of a woman with whom he was having an affair, a drunk driving arrest and a bankruptcy filing in 2014.
