Jammie Foxx has been hospitalized since last Tuesday

Actor Jamie Foxx (“Spider-Man: Never Going Home”) remains hospitalized for nearly a week after suffering an undisclosed medical complication last Tuesday (4/11).

Foxx was on the set of the action comedy ‘Back in Action’ with his co-star, Cameron Diaz, the day before he was checked into a medical center in Atlanta, USA, to undergo a series of tests.

The daughter of the Oscar winner for “Ray” (2005), Corinne, was the one who revealed the health problem in an Instagram post last Wednesday (12/4). “We wanted to share that my dad Jamie Foxx had a medical complication yesterday,” she wrote. “Fortunately, thanks to the quick action and great care, he is now well on his way to recovery.”

Foxx’s state of health and the cause of his “medical complication” are yet to be revealed.

Meanwhile, several of his Hollywood friends, including LeBron James, Kerry Washington and Viola Davis, have been sending their best wishes on social media.

“Back in Action” is directed by Seth Gordon (“Baywatch: SOS Malibu”) and, in addition to Foxx, reunites in its cast Cameron Diaz (“Annie”), Kyle Chandler (“Godzilla vs. Kong”), Fola Evans- Akingbola (“The Night Agent”) and Glenn Close (“The Wife”). The launch will take place on Netflix, no date announced yet.
