Former BBB Cezar Black attends a ceremony with President Lula for the nursing plan

At various times during his time at BBB 23, Black asked the authorities, on national television, for approval of the floor

Former BBB and nurse Cezar Black attended, on the night of Tuesday 18, the ceremony in which President Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva (PT) signed the bill which provides for the release of R$ 7.3 billion for the approved national nursing plan. Black was invited by the Presidency of the Republic.

At various points during his passage through BBB 23, Black instructed the authorities, on national television, to approve the floor.

At this Tuesday’s ceremony, Cezar Black appeared on the government’s official social networks, celebrating the signing. “Nursing in my Brazil, the fight has finally come to an end. Now we have got the signature for the approval of the nursing bill. Now we will be really valued. Nursing is present in all stages of life, there is no health without nursing. Fortunately, our time has come, we approved the PL and we will be appreciated. Congratulations to all Brazilian nurses, our time has come, let’s celebrate!” said Black.

The draft regulating the national minimum wage for nurses to BRL 4,750 was approved in August 2022. However, the measure was not met by a decision of the Federal Supreme Court (STF), arguing that a source of funds was needed to make it possible to pay the minimum wage.

Now, with the signature of the PL which releases the amount, it will be possible to pay the floor. However, the proposal has yet to go through Congress.
