Babi Cruz shared a tender moment with her husband, Arlindo Cruz, on social networks. She posted a photo with the singer followed by the caption: “Together until the end.”
The artist is in a delicate state after suffering a stroke (cerebral vascular accident) in 2017. Two months ago, Babi publicly speculated that she was dating André Caetano, owner of a pizzeria in Rocinha, in the south zone of Rio de Janeiro.
In early April, she brought together Flora and Arlindinho, Arlindo’s children, along with her new boyfriend, at an event at the Espaço Cultural Arlindo Cruz, in Realengo, West Zone.
“I met André Caetano in his political days. He was a coordinator and we are starting a relationship. It’s time to think about me. Arlindo is the priority in my life, a priority for my family and, if I get to If to have a relationship with someone, whoever it is, Arlindo will have to be a priority,” Babi said in early February, announcing the relationship.
Babi justified the new romance by stating that the two would “never have a man-woman relationship again” due to the singer’s situation.
The musician had a stroke in 2017 and, since this period, he can no longer speak or walk, only sketching small reactions. Babi said that even with her new boyfriend she won’t stop taking care of Arlindo.
