Married for 17 years to João Emanuel Carneiro, the actor said he played a gay lawyer in the soap opera ‘Amor Perfeito’

“A lawyer of the time and gay, who found me at a moment in my life when I decided to talk about my sexuality as well. So, I received this invitation in a very nice way, at a moment when we need to examples, people that you’re able to look at and say, ‘I can be that guy,'” she said, sharing that she’s happy with her family alongside the soap opera director João Emanuel Carneirowith whom he has been married for 17 years.

Pedro’s father even joked about setting up a “long ago laboratory” for this character. “Some people carry a little bit of bias and tend to put you in a box: ‘You’re gay but you look like a man.’ I’m a man. There’s a good story to tell there,” he said.

In late March, the celeb shared a series of photos with her husband and recalled the couple’s history in another year together. “We have put our books together and never see each other again without the company of each other’s universe. Today there are three of us. Before I had no idea it could be so much and now we are stronger men together,” he wrote to his beloved her.
