On the last trip, a person is usually sent in their favorite clothes and shoes, but they do not put on additional items. But many celebrities ask to put something specific and even write it down in their will.

Humphrey Bogart (1899–1957)

The legendary actor was buried with a small golden whistle engraved with the words “If you want something, just whistle”. His ex-wife Lauren Bacall gave it to Humphrey as a memento of filming together in the movie To Have or Not To Have.

Toni Curtis (1925–2010)

With the actor, his favorite hat, an iPhone, a pair of driving gloves, his grandson’s first shoes, his favorite Hervey Allen book ‘Anthony the ill-fated’ and an urn with his dog’s ashes beloved have made his last journey.

Bob Marley (1945-1981)

The famous singer was buried with his beloved Gibson Red Paul guitar, a Bible and a bag of marijuana.

Roald Dahl (1916–1990)

The Charlie and the Chocolate Factory author also loved sweets in real life. Candy, a bottle of wine, a pool cue, pencils and an electric saw were placed in her casket. Why – no one knows.

Frank Sinatra (1915–1998)

The singer left with a bottle of Jack Daniel’s whiskey, a pack of Camel cigarettes, a Zippo lighter and a few pennies in case he needed to make a phone call.

Andy Warhol (1928-1987)

The artist was buried with a bottle of his favorite Estee Lauder perfume. It is said that he liked to smell this perfume so much that at parties he would go to the bathroom to renew it.

Harry Houdini (1874-1926)

The magician’s head rested on a pile of letters from his beloved mother, whose death had affected him greatly. The coffin itself was the same model as the coffin he used for his underwater escape stunt.

John Kennedy (1917-1963)

It is known that the American president collected scrimshaw – pieces of whale bone with engraving. He made his final trip with an exhibit engraved with his presidential seal. Also in the coffin were letters from his wife and children, and a pair of gold cufflinks.

Elizabeth Taylor (1932-2011)

The actress has been married eight times, including two to Richard Burton. He loved her even after her separation and, three days before her death in 1994, he wrote a farewell letter. She kept it until her own death and in her will asked to be buried with her.
