But the actress was in no rush to remarry, saying “it’s better to keep the relationship stable and live happily together under the same roof, without confusion.” Five years later, the couple are still separating.

A year later, in 2015, Susana was diagnosed with chronic lymphoma leukemia, a serious blood disease. There is no cure for this type of leukemia, but the disease can be controlled with regular courses of medication and chemotherapy. The actress decided not to talk about her diagnosis until 2018.

The actress admitted that at first she was very worried about how the diagnosis would affect her ability to work.

“I was proud to have lived to be 70 years old without any disease. I have worked in television for 50 years and I have never missed work due to illness. When I found out that I would live with this illness for the rest of my life, that scared me the most. I thought, ‘How am I going to work in such a state?’” the actress confessed.

But in the end, she managed to resume filming. Her family supported her in her recovery.

“Family has always been the most important thing to me. My son, his first wife, my current daughter-in-law, my grandchildren, my sisters, my brothers are the most important people in my life,” notes the actress.

Today, Viyera is still full of strength and optimism. During her life, she starred in more than 50 television series. However, his own life will eclipse all the plots of the most inventive screenwriters.
