Luisa Mell accuses her former Institute of a coup

Activist and presenter Luisa Mell has released a video to refute the allegations of those responsible for changing the name of Instituto Luisa Mell to Instituto Caramelo. The change was announced on Sunday (04/30) through the social networks of the organization, which said it opted for the change because it never received financial support from Luisa Mell.

In a video released on his social networks, the activist accused the NGO of having carried out a coup. “I am the institute’s president, founder and main civil and criminal officer,” said Luisa Mell.

“It’s amazing how people have the nerve to tell such a lie. They said I wasn’t from the institute, that in reality I was just a poster girl and had an image deal. Liars. I was always the founder and president of the ‘institute”. And all the civil and criminal proceedings, the first one that takes me. It’s so many lies that I’m more and more afraid of these people I’ve worked with, ”she accused.

The activist said that, although she has not donated any money, she has always dedicated herself to the institute by donating her image, publicity, time and work to help. “I’ve always asked for money here, I’ve begged. How many times have I begged, humiliated here asking for money. How many advertisements I’ve done without earning absolutely nothing, just so that the institution could eat, to be able to support itself” , he highlighted.

And she revealed that her ex-husband, Gilberto Zaborowsky, used to make donations to the organization. “I was married to a rich man, I don’t have a millionaire pension. This narrative is so shameful, so sick, so criminal,” she said.

She also said she discovered collaborations made in her name without her authorization and with absurd conditions, which led her to change her relationship with the institute. “From the moment I decided not to delegate that much, I became an enemy, having to hear in extraordinary assemblies that any player could replace me because he already had the structure,” he said.

Luisa Mell also accused Instituto Caramelo of changing the governance system so that it can no longer make decisions, fire employees or control spending. “Without the power to decide anything, nor the bailouts I had to do. How could I keep asking you for money?” she asked.

At the end of the video, the activist thanked fans for their support and said she hoped to resolve the matter soon and continue her work with animals. “My mission. Thank you for your understanding and love,” she concluded.
