Two years after the death of Paulo Gustavo, Thales Bretas has opened his heart speaking of nostalgia, mourning and the future
Thales Breta moved everyone this Thursday, 04/05, by making a moving publication on the two years without Paulo Gustavo. The comedian passed away in May 2021 after suffering complications from Covid-19. In the post, the widower highlighted how difficult grieving is, which ended up being shared by a legion of the artist’s admirers.
“I will try to resignify today’s date, which weighed on me daily for 2 years, when a virus shocked the world and took my husband, the father of my children, away from our daily lives. He was such a special man that I , our family and millions of people suffer a collective pain. I know that many are missed every day, and I, his absence every minute, as strong as his presence was strong “started.
Even more, Bretas highlighted: “Happiness turned into silence. Companionship turned into solitude. The responsibility of raising two incredible little boys, previously shared, became greater when it fell only on my shoulders. All this together with the emptying of so many future plans! A colorful and beautiful sketch, which we wrote together, has become a blank sheet again”.
Rephrase the loss!
Finally, Thales highlighted in the text that he struggles daily to move forward, always putting his children, romeo AND gaelas a priority in your life.
“I need to strengthen in me, once again, the gratitude for all the love we have felt! For all that we have built together! For watching our children grow up strong, healthy, intelligent and loved! I am very proud of the person I have become after all that I have experienced. I have searched for life. I continue to sketch my blank page. And despite so many adversities, you must find the strength and courage to continue living, dreaming and reinventing yourself“, he wrote.
And finished: “This is what I wish for all those who go through situations similar to mine: determination to follow with faith because life is never 100% beautiful nor 100% dark! Life is up and down, but the important thing is to always have a story worth telling! Your absence is eternal; endless. I love you forever PG… keep lighting our paths!”
