The creator of the Guinho doll regrets the dispute with Palmirinha and his death: “It hurts so much”

Anderson Clayton formed a fun partnership with the TV presenter that ended in a court dispute

Businessman and journalist Anderson Clayton posted an open letter to Palmirinha Onofre on his Instagram profile. The presenter died this Sunday (7), aged 91, of kidney complications.

The two trained and worked together on shows on TV Gazeta de São Paulo and Fox’s extinct Bem Simples channel. He created and manipulated the Huguinho doll, renamed Guinho after the station change.

“I have been silent all these years. And when they ask me, I spread our stories and there were so many stories that I can’t even imagine how we managed to get here. In these last 25 years we have experienced many conversations, hours and hours in the dressing room, laughter and tears,” she wrote.

“Of course, as in every story, there are sad moments, because without them we wouldn’t be able to demonstrate that a great story is also made up of contrasts and pain. But love and respect have always prevailed”.

In addition to being a partner in the studio’s kitchen, Anderson served as art director and press officer for Palmirinha. In 2014, the cook decided to terminate the contract. Claimed dissatisfaction with career management.

He classified the attitude as “ingratitude” at the time. There was a court case closed with a settlement. After a while they got closer. They made peace, however, they did not resume their professional association.

“I write this letter with a heavy heart and full of nostalgia. I still can’t believe this moment has come. Now, that I have to say goodbye, it hurts so much to think that I will never record our shows with you again,” says Anderson Clayton in the message.

“But even so, I know you will always be present in my life, in every recipe I keep with me that reminds me of you. (…) I will stand firm and strong to keep alive our dear nephew Guinho, whom you asked me to always keep alive wherever I go. My gratitude forever.”
