Life in the shadow of the “mad empress”: how was the fate of the only daughter Irina Allegrova

The children of stars sometimes face difficult tests: if they have all the chances, not everyone manages to realize themselves. The only daughter of the main “empress” of the Russian stage, Irina Allegrova, also spent her whole life in the shadow of her star mother.

Unsuccessful marriage of parents

Irina Allegrova gave birth to her only daughter Lala early – the singer was only 19 years old, her career was just beginning. Family life turned out to be crumpled and ridiculous. Married to Baku basketball player Georgy Tairov, Allegrova took the plunge despite having another man she loved. Having given birth to a daughter from him, Irina immediately filed for divorce. Moreover, the singer registered her daughter under her surname and even changed her patronymic – to Vladimirovna. Tairov was offended by this step, so the spouses did not part very well, and the man withdrew from raising his daughter. Allegrova herself called her marriage a mistake of youth.

During these years, Irina had already toured the USSR as part of various musical groups, but she dreamed of a solo career and fame. In 1975, Allegrova set out to conquer Moscow and tried to enter GITIS. In the last round, she was cut off, but she was able to find work in the capital. At first she gave private music lessons, and in 1976 she was already able to enter the orchestra under the leadership of Leonid Utyosov.

In general, ambitious Irina did not have time to sit on maternity leave, so almost from birth the main upbringing of Lala was made by her grandparents. But Allegrova did not forget about the child: she always came to her daughter for summer vacations, and when she grew up she began to take her with her on tours. Without a mother, the girl, of course, was bored, but she was not offended – on the contrary, she was proud and dreamed of becoming like her.

try to be a star

Indeed, Lala repeated Irina’s fate in many ways, and somewhere she even achieved what her mother could not achieve, but in the end, Lala could not achieve herself as a separate person.

For example, Allegrova’s daughter also became a mother early. She gave birth to her son Sasha in 1995, when she was 23 years old and still studying at the institute. And not in any, but in the same GITIS, where Irina Allegrova was never accepted. There, Lala was educated at the directing department. Relations with the father of the child Ernest Barseghyan also did not work out for Lala – here, however, the initiative was rather on the side of the man who was against the birth of a child. However, later he nevertheless began to communicate with his son, and Lala did not interfere with this, despite long-standing resentment, realizing that the father is important in the boy’s life.

Lala, who got a rather strong voice from her mother, also tried to build a career on stage and even worked for Allegrova on backing vocals for a while, but things didn’t go beyond that. Then Lala became the singer’s manager, and also staged concert numbers, remaining in the shadow of her famous mother.

Life with mom under one roof

Lala has always said that her mother supports her in the most difficult situations. Therefore, their relationship over the years has developed the warmest and most trusting. Today, Lala is already 51 years old, but she still lives in her mother’s mansion in the Moscow region. There is enough space under one roof for the whole family: Lala’s son Sasha, who chose a diplomatic career and graduated from MGIMO, and Lala’s husband Artem Artemyev, who, by the way, , is 14 years younger than Lala. He is the Russian judo champion and the winner of the sambo championships and maintains his own martial arts school. They have been together since 2013.

“Family is very important to me. Probably the most important thing in life! I am happily married,” the man said in a rare interview.

And although Lala did not build a dizzying career, she was lucky to find other enviable values in life: warm relationships with loved ones and love.
