Lana Del Rey’s brother says he’s moving to Brazil

Meanwhile, the sound engineer of the artist’s team is being investigated for xenophobia due to a post that attacked Brazil

Brazil is capable of awakening very different sensations in people. While sound engineer Will Whitney, from Lana Del Rey’s team, raged after being robbed in Rio de Janeiro and wrote hateful comments against the country, the singer’s brother is having a real honeymoon with Brazil.

Charlie Grant has published a series of statements to the country in recent days, as well as filming himself getting a tattoo that reads “Brazil” on his stomach. Last Saturday afternoon, the 3rd, before Lana Del Rey’s show in Sao Paulo, Grant wrote that he would “move”—a translation of “if moving”—here.

“Brazil, I love you so much. I’m moving here. And I’m coming with big plans, American style,” she wrote, mixing Portuguese with English.

Days earlier, Grant wrote an emotional text after climbing Christ the Redeemer. “Christ saved my soul, he gave me life, he made life really exciting,” he said.

Lana Del Rey performed at the MITA Festival, which took place in the cities of Rio de Janeiro and São Paulo. The singer and her brother, however, did not limit themselves to these two places and visited an indigenous community in Manaus.
