Singer Preta Gil Joins Ivete Sangalo’s Electric Trio and Moves Audience at Event in São Paulo
In addition to his trio, the ax artist has been wowing revelers with the biggest hits of his career, bringing some special guests to the show, like Black Gil.
Currently being treated for bowel cancer, the daughter of Gilberto Gil he was called by the hostess of the event to sing and he got excited. In tears, Preta was applauded by the audience and received a warm hug from her famous friend before releasing her vocals with the hit fire signs.
On Instagram, Preta Gil shared a little bit of that special moment and thanked Veveta for her support during her delicate phase. “My dose of healing! Think of the love and energy of this woman! I love you, sister! You are a force of nature!!! Thank you for showing me that I can still do what I love most!!!”, she declared.
