Loser of the office: what Taika Waititi looked like in her youth – Rita Ora would have been there!

Taika Waititi was born and raised in New Zealand, where he started his career. At first, the future Oscar and BAFTA winner dabbled in the stand-up genre and toured as part of comedy duo The Humorbeasts. At the same time, Taika became interested in cinema and began to shoot short films. One of his works, Two Cars, One Night, was even nominated for an Oscar in 2005, but it was still far from unconditional success.

During those years, Waititi looked different. Take a look at this photo from the opening of the All Roads Film Festival in Hollywood. Here, Taika looks more like a costume office than an art person. We’re sure that this knit cardigan certainly wouldn’t have captured Rita Ora’s imagination, had she met Taika in that distant 2004.

Widespread success came to Waititi in 2014, when the pseudo-documentary film “Real Ghouls” was released, where he not only played one of the main roles, but also became co-writer and co-director. Well, successful projects came and went.

Today Taika often appears at social events, shoots for magazines and looks like a real dandy. Elegant style, noble gray hair, perfect tuxedos and bright printed shirts – a handsome man!
