Famous actor Al Pacino became a father for the fourth time at the age of 83. The new member of the Pacino family is the result of his relationship with his girlfriend, Noor Alfallah.
The news was confirmed to The Hollywood Reporter by a rep for the actor, who also revealed that the baby’s name is Roman Pacino.
The surprise of pregnancy
The couple are “excited” by the arrival of baby Roman, despite the tumultuous start to the pregnancy. According to TMZ, he initially had paternity doubts, even asking for a DNA test.
Sources close to the actor said he was “shocked” to discover Noor was pregnant, as he believed he had health issues that prevented him from getting a woman pregnant. In addition to his advanced age, the Hollywood veteran was sure he couldn’t get his girlfriend or anyone else pregnant.

Pacino has been seen with Alfallah since April 2022, and this is the couple’s first child. The Hollywood star is also the father of Julie Pacino, 33, from her relationship with Jan Tarrant, and twins Olivia Pacino and Anton James Pacino, 22, with ex-girlfriend Beverly D’Angelo.
In an interview with The New Yorker in 2014, Pacino opened up about fatherhood. The actor, who lost his father as a child, said having children helped fill the “missing link” after his father’s absence. “I knew knowingly that I didn’t want to be like my father,” said the ‘The Irishman’ star. “I wanted to be there. I have three children. I am responsible for them. Being a part of their life is important to me and to them,” she said.
Robert De Niro has also transformed in old age
One of Pacino’s oldest friends in Hollywood, Robert De Niro also recently became a father. At age 79, he revealed the birth of his seventh daughter in early May.
Upon learning that Pacino would also be a father again, De Niro celebrated the event on the Today show: “Al Pacino just had a baby. God bless him, I’m so happy for him.”
