Britney Spears’ mother begs the singer to make amends with her sister

Britney Spears’ life has undergone several big changes since 2019, when the #FreeBritney movement took the internet by storm. After all, the singer has seen the end of her father’s guardianship, has released new music, and has even started making peace with her mother, Lynne.

And it seems that Britney Spears’ journey could count on another reconciliation, at least if it depends on her mother. This is because, according to Daily Mail sources, Lynne has begged for a rapprochement with her daughters.

The relationship between Britney and her younger sister, Jamie Lynn Spears, has been sour for some time. The two even exchanged banter in late 2021, after Britney was released from custody. On one of the occasions, Jamie spoke publicly about how she had self-esteem issues for being the pop star’s sister, and the “…Baby One More Time” singer responded in a publication, saying “Let’s just say it was hard being my sister? ??? Hmmmmmmmmmmmm…really???”.

Also according to the Daily Mail, Lynne revealed that she won’t stop until her daughters have reconciled. Britney’s mother even revealed that she knows her daughter misses Jamie. However, it seems the artist hopes Jamie will take the first step, as she believes it was her younger sister who started the problem.

It is worth mentioning that Britney Spears and her mother met again in May this year, after three years without seeing each other. At the time, the singer published a text in which she said that the two had gone for coffee together.
