Yesterday (22), Neymar promoted a charity auction, in which 27 items were auctioned off for huge sums. The event comes in a troubled week for Neymar, who has made headlines in recent days after admitting he cheated on girlfriend, Bruna Biancardi, who is pregnant – the fact that the two appeared together at the auction also drew the Attention.

In addition to the couple, several other celebrities were in attendance at the event. Celebrities such as Deborah Secco, Gkay, Lucas Guimarães and Rafaella Santos (Neymar’s sister), for example, appeared in the space during the auction.

The item that collected the most was a Neymar suit (blazer, gold necklace with diamonds and Rolex watch) for R$ 1.2 million. Others that raised a good amount of money were a selection shirt signed by Pelé and Neymar (R$ 500,000), a trip to Rio de Janeiro with Virgínia and Poliana and Instagram posts (R$ 700,000) and the trophy combo of Lionel Messi + 2 nights in the presidential suite in Fasano for 2 people + dinner with Deborah Secco (R$ 825,000). How much, right?

And it seems that the total amount raised was also quite large, since the auction itself raised around R $ 9 million, and this number must be even greater due to donations, the total value of which has not been disclosed.

The money goes to charity

The intention of the charity auction was to raise funds for Instituto Neymar Jr., a charity located in the city of Praia Grande (SP).

Therefore, the amount should help the organization help people in vulnerable situations. The Neymar Jr Institute does this mainly by promoting access to sports, educational, cultural and social activities.
