Singer Ana Castela is escorted to a performance within Sergipe

The Military Police were called due to a “disagreement”, but by the time they arrived at the scene, the confusion had already ended.

In the videos circulating on social networks, it is possible to hear boos against the sertaneja and a man who asks her to be “humbler”.

In a joint statement, the town hall of Lagarto and the production of Ana Castela clarified that the escort was necessary to contain the crowd that had formed around the singer before the show began.

“Even before the artist’s arrival, parents, children and the press began to gather near the place where the singer was to land. Unfortunately, the singer was unable to receive everyone in order not to jeopardize the show’s schedule,” reads the an extract from the press release.

The Secretariat of Public Security of Sergipe (SSP-SE) has communicated, also with a note, that the Military Police has become triggered due to a disagreement. But by the time officers arrived at the scene, the confusion was already over. “Only the accompaniment of the singer on stage was requested,” reads the text.

“Also according to the information transmitted by the Military Police, no person wanted to report the fact to the carabinieri and, much less, accompanied to the police station, which did not give rise to a complaint”, completes the note.

When she took the stage, Ana Castela did not hold back her emotions and cried during the show.
