More than 20 years have passed since the premiere of the first season of the extreme show “The Last Hero”. The whole country followed the participants of the project. Sergey Odintsov, Veronika Norkina and other winners became favorites of the audience.

Sergei Odintsov (1st season, 2001)

At the time of his participation in the project, Sergei was 26 years old. He worked as a customs officer in Kursk. As a prize, he received $100,000. Odintsov bought a three-room apartment, where he settled with his wife and two children, and opened his own cafe, which later burned down. Sergei was also a member of the Kursk municipal assembly.

Now the first winner of the show lives in Nizhny Novgorod with his second wife, a journalist. Everything he left behind after winning, he copied from children from a previous marriage.

Odintsov in 2004 took part in the fifth season of the show “The Last Hero. Supergame”, but did not win. In 2021, he was supposed to become a member of the ninth season of Last Hero. Champions vs Rookies”, but before the start of filming, he refused to participate, explaining this by “circumstances of force majeure”. It turned out that Sergei did not go to the show due to problems with the law. A criminal case was brought against him due to a fight with a neighbour.

Veronika Norkina (Season 2, 2002)

After winning the show, a hairdresser from a refugee family from Kazakhstan moved from Stary Oskol to Mytishchi near Moscow, where she bought a two-room apartment. Veronika got a job as a manager at a construction company and married a project participant, Igor Bezuglov. Spouses have a common child – a daughter. The family traveled extensively. For several years they lived in Vilnius. The couple opened their own cafe. Now the couple again lives in Russia and is engaged in the construction business.

Vladimir Presnyakov Jr. (Season 3, 2003)

The singer won the show’s stellar season. Her rivals were Olga Orlova, Dana Borisova, Igor Livanov and other artists. After the filming was over, Vladimir’s life changed dramatically. In 2005, he began an affair with Natalya Podolskaya, a graduate of Star Factory – 5. The girl managed to sound an enviable bachelor. In 2010 they got married, and five years later their long-awaited son Artemy was born. In 2020, the family of the musician again replenished: Natalya gave birth to a son, Ivan.

Yana Volkova (Season 4, 2003)

A bodyguard from St. Petersburg, after winning the show, as promised, opened a shelter for homeless animals, did charity work. In 2018, Yana passed away. She passed away after a long battle with cancer. The participants of the fourth season were also Zhanna Friske and Yulia Nachalova, who are also already deceased.

Alexander Matveev (Season 5, 2004)

After winning the show, the former policeman kept his promise: he donated part of the winnings to the restoration of the church in the village of Matveykovo, where his mother lived. Alexander also transferred funds to a children’s hematology center and purchased household appliances for the Ryazan military school. Matveev quit his job and starred in the TV series Volkov’s Hour. Today he is the regional director of the economic security department of a well-known dairy company. Matveev loves to cook and has his own blog.

Vladimir Lyssenko (Season 6, 2008)

After the victory, Vladimir continued to work as the hotel manager. In 2020, he headed the tourism department of the Yaroslavl region government. Lyssenko is married. He often attends social events, likes to play the guitar, enjoys outdoor activities: skiing, cycling. Vladimir participates in sailing regattas.

Anfisa Chernykh (Season 7, 2019)

After the long-awaited return of the project, a fragile girl won it – actress and model Anfisa Chernykh. When filming for the show ended, it was difficult for her to get used to the old rhythm of life. The star even had panic attacks. However, little by little, everything returned to normal. Anfisa returned to filming and now continues to build a successful film career.

Nadezhda Angarskaya (Season 8, 2020)

A participant of Comedy Woman won an apartment in Moscow during an extreme show. The artist sold it to repay loans. Hope went to the project to “reboot” after her divorce from Jordanian Raed Bani and to lose weight. On the island, she managed to lose 10 kilograms, and returning home she consolidated the result. The star also released the song “The Last Hero” and filmed a kdip for it. Angarskaya took part in the ninth season of the project, but left it, giving way to Roman Nikkel.

Denis Shvedov rejected the model’s courtship on the “Last Hero”. The star of the project has been accused of harassment.
