On stage, Madonna made a name for herself with provocative antics, playful demeanor and deliberate sexuality.
It turns out that she liked to prank even when she was not yet known to anyone. Madonna moved to New York in 1978, hoping to pursue a career in entertainment. But early on in her journey, she struggled financially, and she had to rely on odd jobs to make ends meet.
At one point, the future Queen of Pop got a job at a donut shop. However, she only stayed there for about a week. Madonna was fired for playing with a jelly machine and even doused a customer. According to the singer, her colleagues also didn’t like her because she “didn’t take the job seriously.”
Interestingly, the reputation of someone who is difficult to work with, she retained on stage. But now Madonna’s employees do not complain about her frivolity, but, on the contrary, about high demands. So, one of the pop diva’s dancers said the singer goes through grueling rehearsals until everything is perfect and puts pressure on the dancers, expecting good performances.
