From the “Reis” series to the stage of “Luther King – The Musical”, Henrique Camargo delights with his dedication and versatility

Henrique Camargo he is without a doubt a multifaceted, dedicated and talented actor! He divides himself between the recordings of the “Reis” series, on Record TV, his latest filming of “É Fada-O Filme” and his dedication to the theatre. He is going to return to the stage in work ‘Luther King The musical‘, just after wrapping up a historic season of ‘Hadassa’. The musical told an emotional story of faith and courage and concluded its short season on June 20 at the Teatro Nissi.




According to Henrique Camargo, many hours of rehearsals were devoted to the show. “I’m reconciling that with my work on the ‘Reis’ series, where I play the son of the narrator. I’m thrilled to tell you this beautiful story,” declared.

Complementing the cast of the new musical, in addition to Henrique, we have a number of other talented actors. Among them are Hadassa Mazarão, Nicole Sacramento, Clarinha Larchete, Abraão Costa, Otávio Menezes, Davi Fields, Gui Augusto, Marçal Siqueira, Renan Sampaio, Rafael Alvim, Aline Menezes and others.

“Luther King – The Musical” portrays the life and tireless struggle of one of the greatest civil rights leaders in history: Pastor Martin Luther King Jr. brings Dr. King’s courage and bravery to life, reaffirming the importance of equality and justice in our society. It is a passionate tribute to a visionary leader and his lasting legacy.

The story will be told by the same producer of the award-winning musical “Rua Azusa”, which brought nearly 300,000 spectators to theaters in Rio and São Paulo. Thus, “Luther King – The Musical” will continue the story of the struggle to end racial segregation in the United States and its strong influence around the world.

With a premiere scheduled for next 14 July (Friday), the work will be exhibited for a short season until 30 July. The shows will always take place on Fridays and Saturdays, at 7.30pm, and on Saturdays, at 2.30pm and Sundays, at the Teatro Nissi – Av. Brigadiere Luís Antonio, 884, São Paulo – São Paulo.
