Madonna she was seen publicly for the first time this Sunday afternoon, 9, since being admitted to intensive care with a bacterial infection two weeks ago. According to the singer’s manager, Guy Oseary, Madonna was found unconscious at her home on Saturday June 24 and was subsequently admitted to the intensive care unit of a private hospital in New York, where she was intubated.
The cause of the sudden illness that struck the artist would have been a bacterial infection, according to him, but the medical team has predicted a “complete recovery”.
The episode caused Madonna to postpone the start of “Celebration Round”a tour celebrating the 45th anniversary of his career, kicking off on the 15th in Vancouver, Canada.
No new dates have been announced for the shows yet, but tickets are still on sale on their official website.
