During a live report on World Rock Day, Supla, 57, pretended to bite off the head of a GloboNews reporter. Journalist Victor Ferreira was interviewing the musician in a record shop in São Paulo and was visibly surprised by the joke.

The episode happened right after Victor asked the singer if he could organize his band and sing a song. “We wanted to hear from you. Is there time? Is the band ready?” Victor asked Supla.

“We’re out there in the madness. We’re going to launch Supla and the punk boutiques here,” Supla replied.

After the band started playing, Supla attacked the reporter, pretending to bite off his head and pretending to rip off the reporter’s body parts. Realizing the joke, Victor dodged the singer and smiled.

New Supla album

In conversation with Earth, Supla detailed the creation of his new album whose main goal is to portray the city of São Paulo. The project, launched on the 30th, brings together songs about street violence, social inequality and even a response from the singer to the recurring invitations he receives to run for public office.
