Netflix: Monica Bellucci and Vincent Cassel’s Daughter in Cheetah, First Photo of Deva Cassel in Series Adaptation of Visconti’s Masterpiece

The 1963 Franco-Italian film classic Cheetah, signed by Luchino Visconti and winner of the Palme d’Or, is being adapted into a series by Netflix. In the casting we can find Deva Cassel, daughter of Monica Bellucci and Vincent Cassel.

As reported by ELLE, the platform has indeed released on its social networks the first preview of its new original production, which, like the cult film – starring Alain Delon, Claudia Cardinale and Burt Lancaster – is based on the same 1958 novel. Named by Giuseppe Tomasi di Lampedusa.

The updated historical drama is filming in Palermo, Siracusa and Catania (Variety). Consisting of six episodes, it should see the light of day in 2024. Deva CasselMeanwhile, at the age of 18 and following in the footsteps of her famous parents, Angelica Sedara will play the role of Claudia Cardinale in a feature film. The young actress has also been announced for the casting of the Italian feature film La bella estate (The Beautiful Summer in English), which will be presented at the Locarno Film Festival next August.

Foreseeing the decline of the aristocracy, the latter accepts a bad connection and marries his nephew, Tancrede, the daughter of the mayor of the city, Angelica Cedara, who represents the rising class.
