Gloria Maria’s youngest daughter enjoys a festival in Rio de Janeiro

Laura, 14, youngest daughter of journalist Glória Maria, took advantage of Saturday evening, 15, to enjoy the Winter Festival in Marina da Glória, Rio de Janeiro. There, the young woman posed for photos.

On Saturday, the Rio event featured a show by Os Paralamas, Nando Reis and Samuel Rosa. This was the first weekend of the festival, which runs until 23 July.

Other artists who will take the stage again at the Winter Festival are Alexandre Pires, Ferrugem, Pedro Sampaio, Criolo, Marcelo Falcão, Armandinho, Natiruts, Seu Jorge, Bala Escolha, Belo, Diogo Nogueira and Xande de Pilares.

Glória Maria, one of the icons of Brazilian TV, died on February 2 of this year. She died of metastases from a cancer she was battling. The journalist was hospitalized at Copa Star Hospital in Rio de Janeiro.

On the last Mother’s Day, 15-year-old Maria Matta, Glória’s eldest, posted a photo next to her mother and sister Laura and hinted at nostalgia.

“This is the first Mother’s Day of many without you. It’s been 101 days since I lost the most important woman in my life. I thank you every day for being my mother and my greatest warrior. I will never forget the our sincere hugs,” he wrote.

“As I always say and will always continue to say, you are my greatest inspiration and I love you like no one could love in life. I am so thankful to be your daughter. You are an example to me, thank you for everything always. I love you, I love you forever,” he concluded.

Glória adopted Maria and Laura in 2009, during a stay in Bahia.
