Sidney Sampaio took to alcohol with medicines given to him by his sister

Last Sunday, 13, Sidney Sampaio he spoke of falling from a hotel balcony in Rio de Janeiro. In an interview with Spectacular Sunday (TV Records), the actor recounted what he remembers about August 4th.

“I don’t remember exactly why I ended up lunging. But I think it has to do with some sort of panic I was feeling at the time. Something I understood was making me sick. Or chasing me.”he said.

Sidney also confirmed that he mixed booze with drugs because he was looking forward to the premiere of his play: “I had a shot of vodka at the bistro next door to my house.”

According to the heartthrob, the drugs were given by his sister:

“My sister has a prescription drug [contra ansiedade] and ended up giving me some medicine that he takes to sleep. I didn’t sleep right away and ended up taking another medicine. It was something punctual in my life, I went through phases where I couldn’t sleep. Also, I slept very well by the way”, highlighted.

In the report, Sampaio revealed that he had a mental confusion on his way back to the hotel:

“I went up to the room and once I was there, I started getting confused. The information started getting mixed up.”

the cardiologist Marcellus Sampaio explained to Domingo Espetacular that drugs, depending on their class, such as so-called hypnotics, can cause mental confusion when mixed with alcohol.

“Reactions such as major hallucinations, behavioral and cognitive disturbances, and memory impairment. Primarily anterograde memory, which occurs forward. The person may not remember anything they have done, due to irregular use of this drug,” he said.
