TikToker, 18, hospitalized after falling off cliff into hot lava rocks in Hawaii

North American TikToker Caleb coffee18 years old, is hospitalized after fall off a cliff of 20 meters in Hawaii, USA, in the middle of a bed of hot lava rocks.

As reported by the young man’s father, Jason Coffee, in an Instagram post, he is hospitalized in Intensive Care Unit (ICU). In the released images, it can be seen that Caleb has suffered several fractures in his body:

The youngster is known on TikTok for showcasing his travels and outdoor adventures, as well as moments with his family. He has around 11 million followers on the social network.

His father and sister, Peyton, are also digital influencers. In another post, Peyton explained that Caleb “was hiking with some of his friends” when he slipped and fell off the cliff.

She also said her brother doesn’t have health insurance and can’t afford the costs of treatment, so the family started an online “crowdfunding” on the GoFundMe website to seek financial help. At the time of this publication, she had already raised just over $17,000, approximately R$85.8,000 reais (the family’s goal is $100,000).

Earlier on Friday the 18th, Caleb himself posted a video on his TikTok profile updating his health status and thanking his fans for their prayers and support.

“Hi everyone, I wanted to thank everyone who is trying to help or support me right now. A little update: I just found out that my neck and spine aren’t broken, so thank God, and I just want everyone who are helping me. I know I’m doing my best to be healthy,” she said.

“This is not the first time I almost died in my life. When I was young, I had many seizures and almost died. Yesterday I almost died too. He was 68 feet (20 meters) tall. I can’t imagine I can’t even imagine it. Remember. I woke up and thought I was going to die. But I didn’t, so thank God.” Watch:
