Singer Black GilThe 49-year-old wrote on his social networks for the first time after the tumor removal operation he underwent last Wednesday, 16. In a statement, the artist said he was recovering from a long and complex 14-year surgery hours, which also required a total abdominal hysterectomy.




“I am well cared for by the doctors. Special thanks to all the warrior team of Dr. Francisco Teixeira Júnior,” he wrote. “Now, it’s one day at a time. I was able to sit up today and I’m still here fighting. God, it’s okay!”

Preta is being treated for bowel cancer diagnosed earlier this year. After finishing the radiotherapy sessions, she had the tumor removed in her rectum last week, at the Sírio-Libanês hospital. In the comments, celebrities like it Maisa, Juliana Paes, Ludmilla and Regina Casé they left their support to the artist.
