Nick Carter denies new sexual harassment allegations: ‘False allegations’

Nick Carter, of the Backstreet Boys group, has been sued over a new sexual harassment allegation. This is the third charge against the 43-year-old singer, who has claimed, through his lawyer, that he is innocent.

According to TMZ, Carter was sued by a woman who claims she was raped by him multiple times in 2003, when she was just 15 and he was 23. In the lawsuit, which she filed anonymously, the woman claims that he allegedly forced him onto a yacht and a bus after giving her alcohol.

Nick, however, denies that ever happened, claiming the lawsuit is “full of bullshit.” To TMZ, his lawyer, Dale Hayes Jr.he said that when the woman first made her allegations against Nick 20 years ago, authorities investigated and found no merit in pursuing the allegations.

According to Dale, the woman “is repeating false allegations in a new lawsuit” and that “doesn’t make them true anymore.”

With the new lawsuit, Carter’s legal team says it is “waiting for evidence to be presented and for the truth about these malicious plans to come out.”

It is worth mentioning that this is the third woman to accuse the singer of harassment. Nick was also sued Shannon Ruthwho filed a lawsuit in December alleging he sexually assaulted her after a concert in 2001 when she was a minor.

In 2017, the singer Melissa Schumann, a former member of the Dream group, accused Carter of rape. In her report, posted on her blog, Melissa claimed she was raped when she was 18 and Nick she was 22.
