OR journalist Valdo Cruz made a gaffe live during the GloboNews connectionon the morning of this Monday, 4. While the Director Joao Carlos Martins Bach was playing the piano, in one account exposed to the attraction the audio was heard of Valdo saying “son of a bitch, huh?”.

The profanity stunned Leilane Neubarth, of Rio, and Camila Bomfim, of Brasilia. Daniela Lima, on the other hand, kept the protocol smile.

Hours after the skirt ended up on social media, the journalism veteran apologized and explained that the bad word was not aimed at the master, but at an event in his private life.

“Regarding the ‘bad word’ I said during a relationship with maestro João Carlos Martins, I first want to apologize to the maestro and our subscribers because this completely inappropriate language should not be used and is not typical of me,” he wrote Valdo on his official Twitter profile.

“I would never make such a comment towards anyone, much less towards the conductor, whom I admire so much. I was outraged by a personal event, from my personal life, and uttered that swear word. Again, I humbly apologize to the brilliant conductor and subscribers,” he concluded.
