She defended the driver by claiming he was not going too fast at the time of the accident. “I wasn’t accelerating, I was super relaxed. I was going at a leisurely speed,” declared.
And he continued: “My daughter [que também estava no carro] she was very nervous. I went down and told her not to look because she was crying. Another Uber showed up to take me home.”.
The woman also said she gave her phone number to the driver, in case he needed to get in touch. “He was very careful throughout the trip and even after the accident. He was very shaken and seems to be a very calm person”justified.
