Konstantin Anisimov, who became the new host of the online show “OK in touch!” on the Odnoklassniki social network, told us what he likes most about his job and how he will choose his guests, and also shared his retirement plans, told who he learned humor from and whispered which of the stars had particularly impressed him.
Konstantin, you joined the project as a leader for seven years. What was the main difficulty and the main challenge for you?
The team and I sat down, talked and understood that with the new presenter a new atmosphere would come, a new conversational character. One thing worries me about actors or athletes, my predecessor Evgeny Rybov worried about something else. Times change and so do public interests. They want to see how the aspiring stars of yesterday grow up. Our common task was to approach the process of creating the program again for me and for the team.
What will you bring of yourself to the show? Branded features?
Of course, there are preparations, but we cannot immediately impose major changes on the viewer. We will slowly look for what format of games, conversations, questions will arise. Maybe we’ll introduce one question per program, and it’ll look so cool that everyone will say, “God, how cool you revealed the hero!” Or maybe we’ll talk on the contrary in a blitz format, or perhaps in the “either/or” format now in vogue on the web. We usually like these shows precisely for the different approaches of the interviewers.

How did the filming of the first hen go? What did you like the most?
What I appreciated the most was that each guest had a different conversation. With none of the guests we had a pattern of communication, the same pace of conversation. Someone was speaking deeply, with an intonation, I wanted to listen to every word. With someone it turned out to be a conversation between two friends who have three children, and the audience will have the opportunity to see how two fathers talk about their families with love and respect. We managed to find out how star guests feel when they change star status from one profession to another – from actor to director, and get to know very young performers. All the warmth, energy and laughter that was in the frame, the good thoughts can be seen very soon. Among our closest star guests are Maxim Maxaim Trankov, Dmitry Shepelev, Mila Ershova, Daria Moroz and many more.
What interview style do you prefer? How to reveal the guests – provocations or friendly conversation?
The informal conversations of friends in the kitchen are closer to me, but, it must be admitted, in the kitchen, sometimes you want to talk in low voices and share something secret. I would like to have a conversation that is open to everyone, but comfortable and private. And then people will be interested.
Previously, “OK in touch!” went live, and now there will be a recording. For you, as a leader, the task is easier, isn’t it?
I will not tell. In general, this change is due to the fact that we can gather as many nice guests as possible in one day and record outings. Plus, we feel like it will allow us to make the show even better. By the way, we will also reduce the timing – each issue will last 30-40 minutes, and not an hour as before. Another update is for the studio audience, so there will always be a live reaction. The audience will be able to contact the guest directly with some questions and through them we can reveal the star hero as an ordinary person.
Do you have a dream guest list? Who would you like to interview?
In my opinion, all dream lists breed disappointment. Let’s say I’m expecting Elon Musk, but he didn’t come for several reasons. Or I want to make someone a guest, but he doesn’t want to or he doesn’t have an opportunity for information. My list is therefore simple: I would like to invite those that we see on billboards, on television, on streaming platforms, that we hear on the radio. As they say, in the morning in the newspaper, in the evening in verse. This is a guest show, and here you have to see who this particular week is relevant and interesting to our viewers.
You usually started in KVN. Tell me what this school taught you?
Three main things: teamwork, the ability to create content on a minimal budget, and the understanding that it’s not the gods who burn the pots – a regular guy with talent can take the stage and make the audience laugh .
Maybe your ability to be humorous started showing up in childhood?
I won’t hide, my mother was very worried about me wanting to go to drama school. She was afraid that after that I wouldn’t find a job and offered me to become a cook. So I trained as a food technologist and even have a few years of experience in restaurant kitchens. Moreover, it is very symbolic that I then started as a screenwriter in the first season of “Kitchen”. Then I left from there, but my colleagues left my name and surname in the series, naming the hero – the bartender, played by Viktor Khorinyak. Well, now I cook in the “kitchen” of the television. In general, I grew up with Mikhail Zhvanetsky and Mikhail Zadornov. It’s early childhood, they were then often shown on television and, of course, they influenced my development. And also, of course, my senior KVN comrades: the Megapolis and Fedor Dvinyatin teams.
Do you still have the skills from your culinary training?
I love to cook and I have two dreams: to host a cooking show and to open a small restaurant where I will delight people with my pastries and my coffee in retirement. And my signature dishes are everything related to meat and its cooking over a fire.
Tell us, how did your career as a presenter begin?
The first time I became the host just on the KVN stage. They were both regional games and Moscow games, I was a kind of little assistant to the great Maslyakov. I was under 18 when I played my first game. It’s responsible work, because you shouldn’t joke here, but you have to be a moderator, maintain the atmosphere between the performances of the teams. In general, this is such work for, I am not afraid of this word, a good guy, which is Alexander Vasilyevich. After all, we perceive him as a kind, cheerful and intelligent presenter who knows how to react with sensitivity and sharpness, but he is not the main driver of this show. Then I created a video blog, the presenter career continued, and I started hosting a show on Muz-TV. And for me, these different stages are connected by the same professional opportunity to be such a good guy alongside exceptional people. These encounters interest me in the profession of leader.
Which characters do you remember the most? Which stars have left their mark?
First, Pavel Derevianko. Our meeting took place at his house at six o’clock in the morning. You can imagine the mood of a person exhausted from work and a film crew bumps into him at such an early hour. But he was so adorable, just the perfect person! And second, Alexander Ovechkin. He is a leader, a real rock – both in hockey and in everyday life. No wonder he is a legend in world sport.
It is said, by the way, that many great comedians used to joke in a sparkling way only on stage, but in ordinary life they were rather sad. Does this stereotype apply to you?
Well I’m not a great comedian yetlaughing). I still have time to joke in my life, I communicate with people who are not related to creative professions. My relatives have nothing to do with television or the stage. It allows you to change, to see ordinary life, to hear instructive stories, to write them down in your notes and then insert them into your speeches.
How do you perceive your popularity?
I love it when people come up and say, “We watch your show as a family and we love it because it’s really hard to find content that everyone can watch together.” For five seconds it turns into some kind of soul fire, then I realize that, therefore, I am doing everything right. There are many outstanding professions – surgeons, subway builders, scientists, which, alas, are not in sight. And I have, by chance, a public profession. When someone comes and asks to be photographed, I understand that for him it’s an important moment in his life. And I don’t want to spoil it. And it turns out that in the frame, I’m so nice, and then all of a sudden I’m like, “Leave me alone.”
What’s new in your work at the moment?
We plan to launch a new project on one of the largest federal channels. We are also preparing a concert-show on the music channel, where representatives of the era of audio cassettes and the era of streaming perform their songs live, and the jury, also composed of masters and freshmen , evaluate them. And there will soon be a reunion of a well-known comedy series, in which I will be the host – like James Corden in the reunion of Friends. Stay tuned for more details, which I’ll be happy to share very soon.
What do you think should be the ideal entertainment content?
I would like the spectator to have a slight smile and a desire to see something else with our guests. Or with me, it will be a great reward. For our jokes or conversations to be quoted and give a drop of inspiration. When an already honored artist still perceives his work with respect, a young artist respects his elders, and a famous athlete can not only boast of having developed muscles, but also speak well – after all, all this can inspire people.
