The actor Danny Mastersonwho became known for his role in the sitcom “That ’70s Show”was sentenced last Thursday (7) to 30 years in prison for raping two women in the early 2000s.

According to information from Deadline, Masterson was present at the hearing and had the opportunity to speak, but decided to remain silent. However, the judge Charlaine Olmedohe turned to the condemned man: “you are not the victim here. Your actions 20 years ago were criminal”he said.

According to the victims, Danny drugged and raped them in separate incidents between 2001 and 2003 at his Hollywood home. The women, who met the actor through the Church of Scientology, also say the organization tried to convince them not to seek justice.

The Church of Scientology denied this accusation and said that Masterson’s religion should have no influence on the case. The actor, who declares his innocence, guarantees that he had consensual sexual relations with his accusers.
