The presenter made a statement last Wednesday, September 6, at the 16th DP in Rio de Janeiro. He claims he only found out that Kayky Brito had been hit a day after the accident.

According to information from Globonews, Bruno stated that he did not realize that Kayky was the victim of the accident because, a few minutes earlier, he had said goodbye to his friend. He said that because he was traumatized by this type of situation, he didn’t approach her.

Bruno also said he didn’t remember how he got home that day. He left the car near the Barra da Tijuca kiosk and returned to pick it up only the following day.

When contacted by Estadao, the presenter’s press office reported that it had not had access to the content of the statements. A statement also writes that “investigations are underway at the 16th DP (Barra da Tijuca). Witnesses are making statements, security cameras are being analyzed and other measures are being taken to clarify the facts.”

Kayky Brito he has been removed from sedation and is now breathing without the help of mechanical ventilation, according to a medical bulletin released by the Copa D’Or Hospital in Rio de Janeiro, Wednesday 13th.

The 34-year-old artist suffered polytrauma, that is, multiple injuries that occur simultaneously in more than one organ or system of the body, following a trauma.

The hospital also states that Kayky has shown clinical improvement, as already reported in previous bulletins, and “will still remain in intensive care”.
