The second suspect in the attempted murder of Mingau has been arrested in Paraty





The Military Police of the State of Rio de Janeiro arrested this Friday morning (15/9) another suspect involved in the attempted murder of the musician Mingau, of the Ultraje a Rigor group.

The suspect Ray Limeira Belchior is 19 years old and, according to the command of the unit, it was he who announced the musician’s entry into the community. The arrest took place in Ilha das Cobras, in Paraty, in the Costa Verde region of Rio de Janeiro.

The military police received a report of a man who may be in possession of weapons and drugs. During the searches, a pistol, 2 magazines, 23 ammunition, a cell phone, a radio headset, 27 bundles of marijuana, 4 packs of marijuana, approximately 750 g of crack, 66 bags of cocaine, 1568 stones of crack, 2 precision scales, plenty of endolating material and a backpack.

Other suspects

Ray is the second person arrested on suspicion of involvement in the attack. João Vitor da Silva, known as Relíquia, has been in prison since 3, accused of firing the shot that hit Mingau in the head.

There are still two suspects at large, according to police, with temporary arrest warrants issued by the courts since the 6th.

Porridge’s health status

Porridge has been hospitalized for two weeks in serious condition. He was hit in the head on September 2, in Paraty (RJ), and is on mechanical ventilation in the intensive care unit of the São Luiz do Itaim Hospital, Rede D’Or, in São Paulo.
