Find out what the villa where Hebe Camargo lived was like, under negotiation for R$30 million

The presenter Hebe Camargo, who died in September 2012, at the age of 83, a victim of cancer, in addition to the legacy she built in Brazilian television, left a beautiful house in the Cidade Jardim neighborhood, in the south of Sao Paulo.

According to what Hebe Camargo’s son, also presenter Marcello Camargo, said Estadaothe presenter moved to the property after the death of her second husband, the entrepreneur Lélio Ravagnani, in 2000. On that date, Hebe decided to leave the house where she had lived with Lélio since 1979, in Morumbi, and sold the ownership of the keys to the place for the businessman’s children.

At the new address Hebe did some renovations and purchased nearby land to expand the property, which eventually created a large garden and even an artificial lake. Inside, large rooms and a chapel. In total, the house was over seven thousand square meters.

Two years ago, journalist Felipeh Campos visited the house where the presenter lived and spoke with Hebe’s nephew, Claudio Pessutti, who lived there with his wife and son. Pessutti died shortly afterwards, a victim of Covid. In this interview, led by Pessutti, Campos showed details of the interior of the house.

Hebe’s house is now for sale. In an interview with Estadao on Wednesday 20 September Marcello said that “the house is practically sold… because you know, it’s huge… I told my mother ‘this house is too big for you'”.

When asked what value the house was negotiated for, Marcello replied: “I can’t tell you the right value. It was Helena and Claudinho (Pessutti’s son) who negotiated it. But it was around R$30 million, no, 60”. (millions) as reported in the media,” he said.

Marcello also said that the house does not belong to him, that he only has a share in it and that the proceeds of the sale will be divided between him and Pessutti’s widow, Elena. “It’s not my house. There is a percentage agreement between us”, explained Marcello. According to him everything was agreed verbally between him and Pessutti, after Ebe’s death.

This Friday, the 22nd, Marcello denied on his Instagram profile that the house had already been sold and that he had only estimated the value of R$30 million.
