Carminha worked as the artist’s secretary for nearly four decades and was a close friend of the King, receiving fan mail and speaking to the press. She had been fighting Alzheimer’s for years and lived in the apartment owned by the singer, where he had opened a home care for his “faithful squire”.
The burial will take place this Sunday, 24, in the Jardim da Saudade cemetery, in Rio de Janeiro, RJ, according to the newspaper.
