In 2017, Victor Chaves was accused of domestic violence against his ex-wife, Poliana Bagatini. In the video it was recorded that the compatriot threw the woman to the ground and attacked her with several kicks. She was pregnant with the couple’s second child.

Two years later, he was sentenced for the crime to 18 days in open prison and had to pay a fine of R$20,000 to his ex-wife.
