Marlene Mattos and Jean Wyllys will work together on a podcast

The former director of Xuxa announced the partnership with the former MP on his Instagram account

Marlene Mattos announced, this Wednesday the 18th, an unusual partnership. The director, known for having worked for almost 20 years with Xuxa, will debut in a podcast together with former deputy Jean Wyllys. Their union was announced in a post on Marlene’s Instagram account.

“Partnership successfully updated: reunited and hired for next podcast,” the director wrote. Marlene, however, didn’t give much information about how the program the two will do should work. Additionally, the podcast does not have a premiere date.

The collaboration between the two had repercussions on the director’s own networks, after receiving negative messages and reactions from her followers. In another publication, Marlene defended the former MP and the union of the two in the new job. “I have a thousand reasons to love Jean Wyllys. He is intelligent, dedicated, hardworking, a friend of his friends: Jean is not fake! I like him and that is enough for us! I have never wanted or aspired to be different, I like him I am simply Marlene, at same time in my own way, with my choices and my white shirts… There are those who believe that I only have one (lol) patience!”, he wrote in the publication which showed a photo of the character Mônica, by Mauricio de Sousa, opens a closet full of red clothes is the same.

“I don’t dominate people’s minds, but I want to tell you one thing: I own my life, my perceptions, and I have never let anyone tell me what to do, and that’s how I intend to continue! To all these people who say barbarism in Compared to Jean, I can say he didn’t do them any harm, so if anyone doesn’t identify with me, there’s really nothing to be done here! Be very careful about judgments based on “I heard”, assumptions… For more honest opinions, and less lice! Judging without knowing is an act of cowardice, so I ask you: jump off my boat!”, he concluded, asking those who were against the partnership to stop following it,

Marlene is considered a controversial character in television history. After having worked with Xuxa for almost 20 years, having participated in the creation of the “queen of shorties”, having done an excellent job on the programming of Globo, especially between the end of the 80s and the beginning of the 90s, the two They separated. Marlene stayed out of the spotlight for a long time and returned to the media after Xuxa, the documentary, released on Globoplay in July this year.
