Barbie: Ryan Gosling receives first nomination for his role in the film; know everything

And let the awards period begin for”Barbie“! Actor Ryan Gosling received his first nomination of the awards season for his role as Ken in “Barbie.”

The star competes for the “Best Supporting Performance” award at the The Gotham Awards. Together with Ryan Gosling, the actors Juliette Binoche, of “The Taste of Things”, Penelope Cruz for “Ferrari”, Jamie Foxx for “They Cloned Tyrone”, Claire Foy for “All of Us Strangers”, Glenn Howerton for “BlackBerry” , Sandra Hüller, “Zone of Interest”, Rachel McAdams for “Are You There God? It’s I, Margaret”, Charles Melton for “May December” and Da’Vine Joy Randolph for her role in “The Holdovers”.

The Gotham Awards will take place on November 27.

Finally, it’s worth mentioning that, even though they aren’t well known by the general public, the Gotham Awards may be starting to show signs of Oscar possibilities. After all, Gotham’s previous top prize winners include “Spotlight” (2015), “Moonlight” (2016) and “Everything Everywhere All at Once” (2022), which won best picture at the Oscars.

However, it’s important to point out that not all of this awards season’s big films applied for the Gotham Awards. Among the main names excluded are “Killers of the Flower Moon” and “Oppenheimer”
