Gil do Vigor criticizes Rachel Sheherazade for complaining about a salary of R $ 220,000

Gil do Vigor expressed his opinion on a speech by Rachel Scheherazade regarding the salary he received at SBT. Even with R$220,000 a month, the journalist claims she was unable to buy her own house.

“There are various discounts, taxes to be paid by legal entities… In fact, despite my salary, I have not yet been able to carry out [o sonho da casa própria]. The salary wasn’t a millionaire”she said.

“I think it is important to underline that, even considering discounts and taxes, if Rachel’s income was really R$200,000 a month (if what they say is true), she would earn more than 99% of Brazilians, according to IBGE data, which indicates that if a Brazilian earns more than 28 thousand, he is already in the 1% with the highest salaries”the former BBB retorted.
