In the book George Harrison: the reluctant Beatlethe author Philip Norman details several stories from the life of George Harrison, the “quiet beatles”. The biography also recalls how George recounted the night he was stabbed 40 times and almost lost his life.

On December 30, 1999, George, who lived with his wife Olivia, I woke up at night to the sound of breaking glass. During the investigations he came across an attacker Michael Abraham, holding a knife.

There are theories that the condition of George, who died in 2001 from throat cancer, worsened as a result of the stab wounds. There is no confirmation of this theory.
