Presenter Bruno de Luca reveals the diagnosis he received from a psychiatrist after Kayky Brito’s accident

The host Bruno di Luca talked about the actor who was hit Kayky Brito this Friday 03/11. It is worth mentioning that the celebrity was criticized for allegedly abandoning his friend after the incident on September 2 in Rio de Janeiro.




In an Instagram post, Bruno revealed that he had sought professional help. “Friends. Since September 2nd I have been living in great anguish. My main concern was Kayky’s health. During this period I maintained constant contact with his family, who always updated me on his progress. Since he was discharged and he had access to his cell phone, we are talking and he told me about his clinical and physiotherapy progress. This calmed my heart. But these 2 months also taught me valuable lessons about life, responsibility, limits and how life can tip over in seconds”, started.

He then recounted the details of his encounter with Kayky on the night of the accident. “Since Kayky moved to Curitiba, just over a year ago, our meetings have become rarer. That night we met to celebrate the new moments in our lives: fatherhood, family, new goals. Unfortunately , all this excitement left us. drinking, and this exaggeration turned the celebration into tragedy,” he reported.

Professional help

Bruno de Luca revealed that he sought medical help and also shared with his fans the diagnosis he received from his psychiatrist. “Since then I have visited psychiatrists, undergone hypnotherapy, done guided meditation and thought a lot. The incident I saw left me in a state of shock, distraught. In my head I had witnessed a death. All these events that night affected my ability to discern and cohere. I was completely out of control and mentally shaken,” he writes.

“According to Dr. Júlia Fandiño, a psychiatrist I consulted, I had mental confusion during a traumatic experience, which evolved into dissociative amnesia. According to science, dissociative amnesia consists of a type of memory loss caused by trauma or stress and results in the inability to remember important personal information. I remember some flashes from the last moments of that night: saying goodbye to Kayky, turning to pay the bill, a loud noise, someone being thrown. then only screams and confusion. Many people run away, then the total blackout”, declared Kayky Brito’s friend.
